I am so glad I was able to file a successful I-140 petition (under EB2 NIW) with the NAmILG. My I-140 got approved without premium processing in about 4 months with no RFE, which really was surprising given the current processing backlog.
I started the process with the NAmILG almost an year ago. Given my theoretical background (pure mathematics), I was not quite sure how to build a strong case. In particular, it was a challenging task for me to write a SOC in a way that it is accessible to non-specialists. However, the lawyer assigned to my case, Belinda Bu, was very helpful in navigating the entire process. She was available to answer many of my questions/concerns and was able to provide me with useful feedback. Overall, I am truly impressed with how smooth the entire process went with the NAmILG.
